Institutional Project for Internationalization

ABOUT THE PRINT

The CAPES-PRINT Institutional Project for Internationalization aims to promote the construction, implementation and consolidation of strategic internationalization plans of the institutions contemplated in the areas of knowledge they prioritize; stimulate the formation of international research networks with a view to improving the quality of academic production linked to post-graduate studies; expand the actions to support internationalization in the postgraduate courses of the contemplated institutions; to promote the mobility of teachers and students, with emphasis on doctoral students, postdoctoral students and teachers abroad and abroad for Brazil, linked to stricto sensu graduate programs with international cooperation; encourage the transformation of participating institutions into an international environment; and integrate other actions to promote Capes to the internationalization effort. The approved proposals, through the Notice Nº 41/2017 and Alteration of Notice Nº41 / 2017, will have actions focused on innovation, productivity and visibility of Brazilian scientific production through financing.

Economic Development and Public Policy
Coordinator: Professor Braz Camargo
Description:
Understanding which public policies can contribute to the economic development of a country is a matter of the first order for Brazil. We intend to improve the several researches that have already been developed by the Getulio Vargas Foundation in the area (productivity and economic growth, education and human capital, institutions), encouraging a multidisciplinary approach and in different areas of the economy (Micro Applied, Applied Macro, Political Economy). To achieve the proposed objectives, we will organize spaces for the exchange of experiences and debates on the results of the researches developed, such as: events, mini-courses, exchange of teachers and students.
