REGULATORY DIALOGUE BRAZIL – EU

INVITATION

The European Union, in cooperation with the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP) and the Center for Global Trade and Investment Studies (CCGI) of São Paulo School of Economics of FGV (EESP/FGV), is organizing a Regulatory Dialogue international conference between Brazilian and European Union stakeholders.

The first objective of this meeting is to present the results of a substantial research conducted by CCGI-EESP/FGV in the framework of the EU's Partnership Instrument Programme on the Mapping of applicable technical regulations, conformity assessment procedures and supporting standards in support of EU-Brazil business development. This research will be made available at http://ccgi.fgv.br/en/publications. 

The second objective is to offer EU and Brazil private sector representatives an opportunity to discuss the above mentioned research results as well to exchange information and perceptions on regulation, standardization, and certification procedures related to EU-Brazil business development.      

The event will provide an opportunity for industrial sector stakeholders to discuss possible opportunities for cooperation initiatives in the following sectors: machinery, electric-electronic, chemicals (basic products, pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, pesticides and cosmetics), medical devices, and food industry.

 The Regulatory Dialogue will take place at FIESP, located at Avenida Paulista, 1313, São Paulo/SP, CEP 01311-923, in the Auditorium on the 4th floor.
