The Study Centers, Laboratories, Nuclei and Observatories of the São Paulo School of Economics at FGV were created from 2003 onwards, with the aim of increasing academic research in the various lines of study in the area of Economics, of which FGV EESP professors are experts.

The development of research and dissemination of results effectively contribute to raising the scientific cultural level of FGV researchers and students, as well as to the country's economic and social development, which is the mission of FGV EESP.
